NFPA 70E requirements for safe work practices to protect personnel by reducing exposure to major electrical hazards. Originally developed at OSHA's request, NFPA 70E helps companies and employees avoid workplace injuries and fatalities due to shock, electrocution, arc flash, and arc blast, and assists in complying with OSHA 1910 Subpart S and OSHA 1926 Subpart K.
These are kits so technicians and engineers can have access to the PLC without entering the PLC / Electrical cabinet, we are providing a way to be compliant with the code without having to gear up in the arc flash personal protective equipment
In the kit is the cable to connect to the PLC (10 ft long) and a bulkhead to mount to the cabinet, there you will be able to walk up to the cabinet and plug in, just like you did in the past but not having to open the cabinet
